Aradia has performed at Marrakech for nearly 20 years, as well as through out the United States,
Egypt and Switzerland. She has danced at many of the top hotels and clubs in Las Vegas, and is a
sought after instructor and choreographer. Her professionalism and friendly personality make her
one of the most requested dancers in Las Vegas.
Aradia's love for Middle Eastern dance began at the age of 7 when she witnessed
her first performance. The passion and beauty of the dance sent her running home
to her family asking to be enrolled in "Belly Dance" classes. Over 20 years later,
Aradia is still as passionate about this art as ever.

Born in Istanbul, Turkey, belly dancing is in her blood. Beginning
at the age of 6, Cigdem began learning Turkish folkloric dance. 2 years
later, she was performing at relatives' weddings and holiday festivals.
At the age of 16, Cigdem became a very sought after dancer and began
performing all over Turkey at many famous clubs and restaurants. Upon her
arrival to the U.S. (Las Vegas) 10 years ago, Cigdem was immediately hired
at Marrakech, and has performed here regularly ever since!
Her feel for belly dance comes naturally, and her raw talent is something that cannot be
taught.

Born and raised right here in "Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada",
this is a homegrown beauty that receives kudos regularly from our
middle eastern clientele, who know a thing or two about belly dance,
and are usually stiff critics!
This is a reflection of her traditional
style of dance, which she learned under the instruction of Angela
Palmeiri, a former Marrakech dancer and a long time Las Vegas teacher.
We say, there's just "something about Marisa"!
